Aylesbury Has Been Ranked 2nd in Recent Poll!

As you know, we love our little town of Aylesbury! It’s got so much more going for it than some give it credit for…

Until now, because It’s finally getting the credit it deserves!

Aylesbury has just been ranked the UK's second best place to live in an iLiveHere poll! We think this is just fantastic, as previously many have only looked skin deep at our pretty town, without understanding the true character it has.

So what is behind Aylesbury’s sudden rise in appeal…?

Well no one thing in particular; More a better understanding of what it truly offers, as we have previously stated.

Aside from our stunning church, our traditional market town homes a mix of Georgian, Tudor and Jacobean buildings, which makes it a very pleasant place to be. And with its’ relaxing canal basin you can start to see why people find it a beautiful place to live.

The canal is perfect for a leisurely lunch time walk and just a five minute walk from the main shopping hub. Vale Park offers another relaxing option in Aylesbury, which is home to a play area, tennis courts and a large open picnic area.

 Now when it comes to hospitality, we are not short there either; Aylesbury hosts 60 bars, restaurants and cafes. So you can mix it up every weekend with plenty of new flavours and atmospheres!

All in all, Aylesbury has a heck of a lot going for it. So we’re very proud of the old town’s new recognition.
